Mini Exercise Bike

A mini exercise bike is a no brainer way to lose weight if you are desk bound or just to tired at the end of the day to do much of anything!

A mini exercise bike slides under your desk so you can pedal way while working on your computer, reading and doing other office tasks.
You can also set it up in front of your chair or coach and peddle way while watching TV.

A mini exercise bike is portable and as comfortable as the chair you are sitting it. It is truly a “mindless” easy way to fit in exercise.

I combine my mini exercise bike with a timer. Each morning I set the timer to whatever my goal is for the day and peddle away as I work. Since the mini exercise bike I purchased doesn’t have foot straps it is easy to move my feet on and off. Let’s say my daily goal is 40 minutes. I set the timer for 40 minutes and peddle away without thinking about it. If something comes up I pause the timer and resume later.
Once my time is up I often find myself continuing to peddle because it is so “mindless” yet helps me get fit. If you decide to try it, buy a timer like the West Bend Timer or the one I have a Sunbeam, Timer. You want to easily be able to plug in numbers without having to toggle a button up and down. And you want to be able to use the pause function, which pauses the timer for as long as you like.

A variation on this is the mini stair stepper. You don’t have to be standing to use it. Set a mini stair stepper up under your desk or near your coach and step away.

A mini exercise bike or mini stair stepper is truly an easy way to fit in exercise.
